Army Information / Updates:

The first time I ever made a Necron army list Billy Elliot was on TV. In hind sight I should have put Terminator 2 on, or at the very least Screamers. From that day onwards, whenever I've sat with a pencil in hand, intent on assembling an ancient horde, raised from the depths of a dark tomb I am reminded of a small northen lad and his will to dance.

Beyond the weird Billy Elliot connection, I think Necrons are a top notch army. They’re simple to paint, tough to kill and although the cost a lot of points, they can do a lot of damage when used correctly.

My two favourite units would have to be Immortals and Destroyers. The Immortals are fairly points heavy, but their ability to march forward unleashing a withering torrent of flaying death is great. Destroyers are another unit with serious potential to inflict death. They can be deployed rapidly to wherever you need them most and have swung a close battle for me several times in the past.

I should also give a special mention to my Scarab Swarms, which have earned a range of colourful profanity-laced insults for their extremely lucky , highly destructive powers!
